REVIEWS

Review by Shirley Israel-Thau (posted on 22-Feb-2005)

I watch this movie whenever it is shown on TV. I will watch anything that has Clifton Webb in it. I think he was super in every one of his movies, but this one, in my opinion, was exceptional, probably because it was a true story. I must also mention the movie Laura -- he was extremely good in this one as well. It is another movie that always gets my attention. It also starred Dana Andrews who was my screen idol when I was very young (a long time ago!) I have seen most of Clifton Webb's movies and liked him in all of them. The Man Who Never Was was shown some time ago on a commercial-free channel and I had taped it then so that I could have it for my personal library and can watch it whenever I'm in the mood.
